I'd guess if that was the case that Flowen and Kirek would be a bit like the Ethan and Tylor story in PSU.
Hehe... maybe his rival was only a figment of his imagination, therefore forcing him to chase it all the way to Pioneer 2!
But yeah, I'm guessing it's one of the 'Big guys' that's his rival, like Flowen or such.
