my view is that every mem card will get corrupted once in it's lifetime so don't get over confident that your mem card will never get corrupted it will happen sooner or later thats my view anyone got any views diffent then pm me!
i remember that post well, still waiting for the corruption o.o
well, if theres a chance of it hapening everytime it saves then theres a chance that it will never happen, as it also may hapen in the first few saves....
3rd party cards corrupt sooner and easier, i found that out when i was playing final fantasy crystal chronicles, i read a post that said on about save 100 it corrupts, as FF:CC rejects the card after a while
Well I'm still waiting for my ps2 memory card to become corrupted(what am I saying!) so far 6 years and counting.
*sings SUM 41* So am I, still waiting...

well, the PS2 ones take a while for corruption, its sort of random with the GC ones ._. or the game rejects the card, which is never fun

i have 2 questions for gamecubers.
1-the gamecube pso saves many times during gameplay, can each save have a small % of FSOD
2-what if you load the game, remove the memory card during play and on the final game save you input the memory card, does this reduces FSOD (consider this if the 1st awer is yes)
Well it all depends on the condision of the game disk. If it's scratched up then it could fsod.
