yes and you cant even begin to call yourself an anime fan if you dare to watch in english. You have to watch it in japanese with english subtitles. Thats the way it was meant to be seen, not all hacked and edited. Since you watched it in English, it was censored. Theres so many bloody battles that you never even got to see. Sean, kenshin getted stabbed thru by Saito--very nice.

my tv is to old to do subtitles and there arnt any places around here that sell video imports

you dont set your TV to jp and you dont have to buy imports. If you buy any anime on DVD it has the JP with subtitles option...

No wonder he hates Kenshin. It's like watching X The Movie or Escaflowne The Movie. Painful.

thats another problem I don't have a DVD player

well then i guess you cant be blamed but dont go judging any anime until youve seen them in their original state.

The only reason I get to watch anime in Japanese is because I have a PS2. Otherwise my parents never would have gotten me a DVD player.

i just got lucky and my parents bought me a DVD player last year for my birthday without even asking! thats when all the anime watching began muhahahahha
