I agree Sesshomaru, people shouldn't think they can beat someone just because they can beat their friends. And I'm not THAT good at any video game, so I don't brag, usually. Bragging just causes arguments like these...

that is completely true.....the only people that I ever brag to are my friends when I completely destroy them at Halo 2......(usually call myself a Legend ) but that doesn't mean that someone else here COULDN'T beat me.....the only way to actually get better at playing a game than someone else is to sit there and play the same people over and over again to find out their strategy (fortunately for me, I seem to be able to find someone's strageties out pretty quick).......now could we continue this thread without anyone throwing cheap shots at each other? (don't answer that question)

on topic: Link's Up+B is strong, but can be avoided and can easily be taken out by jumping and hitting Link while your in the air......rolling away from it by using L also helps....and it gives the person plenty of time to counter Link while Link is finished his move.......the move can be strong....but it does have weak points

Like most strong moves, it can be easily countered, yes.
What I like to do with Link is use his Z move to hook onto a wall and jump back onto a platform.

that is a great move to use.....but miss and its all over........and ALL strong moves can be easily dodged....no matter what you think.....smash moves included......simply dodge behind the guy and smash him back ...usually results in mass words being sent your way like &*%^%* and $%##@...

My favorite thing to do with any char. that can is to wall jump.

Technically I haven't been bragging, I started out in this topic listing my favorite characters, reasons why I hated Falco, and then giving some tips on Pikachu's weaknesses and how to avoid an edgeguarder and maybe turn the tables. Then we went into a debate on having honor or not, SC God IX said what if he used the sword spin over and over, that it would become very annoying and he'd kick my butt, which may very well be true. I said I'd most likely be able to dodge it and then counterattack possibly winning. After that he expanded on the whole sword spin thing where it wasn't a continuous stand in one spot using a sword spin, lol. Which made a bit more sense. I just said whatever at that point. Now you may consider me mastering the good ol' art of smash as bragging, but look at the wink emotion, more or less of a joke. Thus I was not bragging, at least no more than anyone else. When it comes to a fighting video game there is always gonna be a bit of posturing.

And it doesn't matter if he wins, I can take losing, I just love the game that is all, I just like to think I can win.

Yeah Fox is fun, but Pikachu is a great character. He may be light but he also has the double jump which covers large distances. (great for getting past an edge guarder) Plus his smash attacks are some of the strongest out there. I think his side smash attacks are the strongest ones in the game when not charged up. And his up smash attack is great for KOing. He also ties for the third fastest character in the game. So he does have some good things going for him, and you gotta love spamming thunderbolt, good for clearing out ppl around you, and his down smash attack is pretty fast plus it can also clear people out from around you. His aerials aren't that great, except for his u-air that if you do it right I hear can spike but I can't seem to do it. >_> lol And I can't ever seem to get that wave dash or l-canceling down. Whenever i try and l cancel I just use a dodge right before I hit the ground, and I look like a total idiot when I try to wavedash.

I reaaly Link and Foxxx. They both are awesome.
