not neccesarily its more based on real life luck that u have in the game. After playing in vhard mode for 12 hours straight and finding only 1 special item doesnt put me into believing in beat time.
heh well i dont care anymore i know where to get the rare stuff ive found 20 rares so far jus go rare huntin in ult the rares that drop there are pletntiful so no need to tell me anymore and the rate you find rares is based on the luck you have in real ;ife apperently im a freakin lephrachun with a four leaf clover cause rares drop alot for me.
Yeah but when i first made it to hard i had played for 20 hours with a yellowboze id & rares practically dropped out of the sky for me! when i finished hard i had 150 different rares! than my game got erased and i had start over. :'(
i still dont buy the beat thing. i tried it and it never worked for me. to me its all about luck.
the beat thiing doesnt work ive got alot of rares the beat time has nothin to do with it.

I've been on the game for about 130 hours and got the same rare at differnt beat times so it carnt afect it
