I continually hear about twinking characters I have a rough idea of what it is about...but I would like to know how to do it and what exactly it is...all I hear is that it has something to do with exchanging items between memory cards or something...like giving a lower level character an item from a higher level character you have...I was wondering if anyone knew how this is done...I also hear from many that they do not consider this cheating or hacking seeing as it is built into the game... please help me out here...please!:p
Well, you are right. But maybe think smaller.
You give a new or low level character a high level mag and weapon, armour, and spells. You give them a high level mag, so the new character can equip the things you are trying to give them. It makes levelling up a character much quicker. But be careful with mages. Give them too high a tech disc and it will eat what little TP you have at low levels. I found this out with my new force

If you have two controllers, hook them up and start a muti mode. Select the two characters you want to swap information between and away you go.

That's ya problem right there. On the GC and Xbox versions there is a multimode. 4 people can play the same game offline in split screen. You can't do that on the DC. If you want to exchange weapons and stuff, find someone you trust, create a passworded game, and both join. Drop the items you want to trade between chars, and then reconnect to the game with the new char.
so there is no way to trade items between characters on the DC? Odd back when DC was the only one that had PSO people were still talking about it

I meant offline...I can't connect because I don't have the cable to connect when you have Cable internet

It's not the cord you need. It a whole new modem. Very, very few BBAs were made for the DC. Look on Ebay. I would try ebay.com instead of UK because they were not released here. You might need a new cable as well :p.
