You tekked it down. You didn't "argue" with the tekker... you can get up to 10% more or 10% less on any percent that the weapon has. This is why you can't always believe the tekker - look at its percents before you take it to him and see if you can get the 10% higher (it'll take awhile sometimes).
Thank goodness I have no negative-% weapons. I do have this one Calibur of some kind that I kept, before I figured the above out... it has hit % shown, but it says 0%... I assume that I just didn't check that out and it was originally higher. Funny to see it there... almost like it's laughing at me.

Yes. I used to have a -5% Dragon slayer a while back. It is rather unfortunate to get items like that. However, looking on the bright side, -5% is the highest amount of % that any item can go to. And luckily enough you can most likely get rid of that ugly -5% by tekking your item.

Does anyone remember that back on the DC you could actually get weapons with -15% or -20%. And you could even find ones with multiple negatives. But that aside, I thought it would always be interesting to find the worst % item in the game and try to use it effectively.

That would be like trying to use your stool effectively.

Yes. I've seen -40% in some of the shop items. Horrible.

That is pretty disgusting. I am none too sure if the common items can have that much -%, but I am glad that the rares at least do not get less than -5..Because then it would be really upsetting finding like, a Sealed J sword with -40 on Dark, Machine, and A beast. xD;

Are you talking about DC now? Because I've never found any with negative percents. I've tekked weapons that came out with negative percents, but I didn't keep those percents.

this is on the GC (for me atleast). if your get a -% can you eventually use pd's to raise to +100%, or would it decrease it by until it gets to -100%? that would be pretty strange if you could lower the %'s on weapons with pd's.
