Ok, ive logged about 50 hours already offline, im lvl 38, and thinking about going online. Now i know there is the monthly fee, but the first month is free right? So would you be able to play the first month free, then cancel your hunters licence and not pay for anything else, so you got one month free? Im just wondering, but if i do get the broadband i will most likely just pay the monthly (if i can convince my rents).

Yes the first month is free. If you are in the EU (not sure about other areas) it's not automatic renewal of your lisence. So once you've registered, after the first free month, if you don't top up manually, you won't be able to go online.

Im not sure about where u got ure info from, but then again ure an Xbox user, so ure talkin about Xbox Live, and i have no idea as to how that works! But technically, no, you wont lose your 2 months free (If thats how much u get) until the moment you start playing online. That is that Phantasy star Online on the Xbox is an online only game with no offline play, to my knowledge, so theres no other way u can play except online.....is there?

I do know a little about x-box live but nothing tht you proboly dont know. I think all online games you pay monthly not yearly. And no, even game cube too as soon as you subscribe your time starts ticking. And you dont get the first 2 free, you get the FIRST month free.

???my brother just got xbox live for 59.99 MESETA (no euros) he got the !50! euros for 1 year payment but there says that you get +2 months free so he payd for 14 months and the other 10 euros was for the headset thats wat he told me...
and you CAN play pso offline on xbox episode 1 and 2
you need live but you can play offline...

by the way my brother bought it because he wanted to play on xbox 2 and now he has someting of it so sooometimes he can play
