All i gotta do to qualify for PSO: Blue Burst is to upgrade to Broadband... *Mega-Sigh* Maybe i wont get it at the US release :S

I can't get it. I would if my computer was fast enough but it's not. One wepon I would get if I could get the game would be the Sun Daggers......*drools*

I will have it when it comes out here.

broadband cable internet
2.80 GHz mobile Pentium 4 processor
512 MB RAM
64 MB Nvidia FxGo5200 graphics card

...in other words, I'm more than set for such a technically-demanding game, I also already live in the country it's set to come out in

OMG! OMG! OMG! I just picked up the new issue of Play magazine and what do I see? On the sixth page of preview *BAM* a big PSO Blue Burst editorial with the oh-so-comforting headline of "Thought it wasn't coming? Guess again." Soon after was a write-up on how great the game is looking, followed by some teasing screenshots of the new areas, a new mini-boss and a pics of characters in the new lobbies. All I can do is drool...finally a SOLID, public editorial preview of an american version of blue burst. But unfortunately the release date says TBA...(sigh). But regardless, I am incredibly exicited and waiting in a state of high anxiousness for the game to come here.

Another good thing is that I played in the PSOBB beta so I know my computer will run it. Just give a english copy soon PLEASE!!!!

Hmmm, sounds good, but id like a low down on if things like FSOD etc. still exist on it... you have to watch out for what they dont tell you.

This game(PSO) was my first taste of online gaming(DC) and the chance to play it again on my PC is something i'll do my best not to miss!
I have played Legend of Mir, Asherons Call 2, SW:Galaxies, beta MxO, and now playing Everquest2, but would soon drop any of those for the generic anime look and style I enjoyed so much. Bosses and rare items always had a big wow factor to them in PSO, never a guide to get them or anything, you either found something, or just envy'd the other guy he got there before you lol.
Want a group? easy just shout at some people in the lobby BAM! 2 minutes and you are into a mission, no shouting LFG! repeatedly lol.
Anyway if this does get a release in the USA in the next 6 months i'l be happy to group up with any people from this forum... now do I go for the same Spikey haired HUmar I had all that time back, or do I change hmmmm heheh plenty of time to decide methinks.

Not sure why a 256kbps line is required(DC only had a 33.6), but other requirements don't seem to crazy, maybe a little shocked older cards don't support an older graphics engine, but the lower cards it lists likely cost not more than the game screenshots bring back old memories, just have to find a company to import it to the UK from North America :S
Hope a more solid date appears soon, but if Sega meet target then should only be a few months, only translation and servers to sort, right?
Hope there are bonus missions etc, and we get more downloadable missions(DC was bad for that) as we probably have to pay a subscription charge :bandit:

Wow, thats interesting to see theyve finally got a game page up for it now... it must be getting close!

There wouldnt be any downloadable missions as its an online game... making the point for Download games, pointless, because you cant play them! XD
Everything is stored server-side to reduce cheating and hacking, therefore you have to be online to play with your characters, and such.

Im just hoping they do a similiar release to that of Final Fantasy XI and release it with Expansion packs *Cough*Episode IV*Cough*
