i would rather have a Battle cannon STR 8 RANge 72"
than a Demolisher Cannon 24"
depends were really, battle cannons rue, but in a city then youd want a vindicator cos they have demolisher cannons that rule in close range situations (like cities)
or scrap everything and get a basilisk!
I'm thinking of starting up an army of my own..but I'm torn between who to get..anyone have any sugestions?

I'm really just torn between these follwoing armies
Tau
Eldar
Ork
Space Marines
tau all the way- str 10, ap 1 and pretty decent range on their broadsides, screw me i wnat some!!
tau are fun but i'd recommend eldar, they are extremely flexible with all of the aspect warriors and quite cheap in points so you can field a lot, and they look cool!
yeah..I figure its mainly Elder or Tau for me...Eldar look cool..but..they have a few problems with them..as all teams do.
thats about right, or you could go for a kroot mercs army, of all of my armies that one is the most successful.
