It is quality (space marines, tactical squad) vs quantity (dark eldar, 20 troops with poisend blades) it was a bad choise... the only thing id assault them with is a talos - Strength 7, Toughness 7, Wounds 3, Weapon skill 5, Attacks d6...

but even the Talos is not that good. Remember orpheus, Talos in combat with Grey Knights. Who Won the combat? i did with my Grey Knights of course!!!!

Games Day is always (well almost always) at the Birmingham NIA or NEC. they would not move it to Manchester. and it ussually Late September, Early October

yes, first you directed allmost all the fire on the two talos and swarmed the last one with grey knites with its last wound...
my best experiance of a talos whas when whe had a tourney against 400 pts of space wolfs - turn one, moved talos into battlefield with troops - turn two, moved and shot with talos, AND ASSULT!!!... the fun part, obliterated the troop choise - by turn four the talos had MASACRED a squad of 10 men, a venerable dreadnaught, and the hq choise... fun...
Games Day is very good. Lots of people, GW staff, and games
i wnet there last year. the only bad parts were the 4 hour coach trip each way and waiting in line for 30mins

tyranids absolutely suck! i saw a nids v tau match... ouch!! that hurt for the tyranids! i collect good ole space marines, and i have a sweety painted drednought (its awseome) and some other niceities....
no they don't suck at all, with their new codex, they can now field anything up to EIGHT! carnifexes!
