its a system and an ability that works wonders over time that coupled with few other quirks in my belief system and values really keeps me from being to terribly dissapointed or angered by much
This thread makes my brain hurt a bit... But when i'm mad or sad, i decide to either play music, make a picture that looks funny, or poke my dumber dog (he looks around confused if you do it quickly... silly products of inbreeding!

Not really.

Kashima Wrote:Quite possibly one of the most cold and callous statements ive ever heard in my life theres nothing wrong with being able to look at your own unfortunate luck and being able to laugh about it i have to do it on a daily basis . Point in being my father threatens to put me out this morning because my grade point average is only a 3.0 even though im still going to schol despite having been diagnosed with accute clinical depression thats something im able to laugh it i find it funny in an ironic way as opposed to haha but laughing at the misfortune of others on the scale of the crusades makes me mildly sick...Did it make you giggle when the towers were knocked over ?
Laughing at others on the scale of the crusades is entirely okay in my mind. I have a twisted sense of humor I'll give you that. But not the twisted in which your thinking. The Crusades were funny, because it signified the Church's stupidity in a time where the Church was considered the most wise institution on the planet. They were all wise, all knowing, yet went into war campaigns that lasted nearly 200 years, after getting defeated the first time. That's why the Crusades were funny. Not for the people who died, but the situation in general. That Kashima, is why the Crusades were funny. I can find any and all irony in a situation. Even if no one else thinks it's funny. It's all a matter of perception.
If nothing is wrong with laughing at your own shortcomings, as I previously stated, then why did you not only agree with me about it, but then call it cold and callous? I'm curious if you meant something else. Nothing is wrong with laughing at others, anybody and everybody does it. I'm very sorry you think so low of me Kashima, perhaps this explained a little of that which you don't understand yet.
i agree with being able to laugh at your own misfortune afterall only you know how deeply something affects you what might seem like the most unfortunate incident to someone viewing the situation might be a small drop in the bucket to you perhaps i did misunderstand what about the crusades you found wrong and i apologize i still dont believe in the concept of finding blatant amusement in the suffering of others no matter how ironic it may be... (( ps where did dz dissapear to ? ))
I apologize further, for not making my humor clear enough. DZ, he was reading my fan-fic last night, I just now got on so I have no idea.
*Shakes Kashima's hand* It's okay friend. My PM, from him was timed at like 11:30 last night he may not be on for a while. My dad has chronic depression also, but he's bi-polar, that might usually tilts it off towards anger.
Also: you need to start the RP again we can't continue without you.
