I was wondering if there have ever been instances where a hacker has been able to hack part of a level into part of the lobby? I don't think this has ever been done to my knowledge but the concept of fighting inside the lobby is an interesting one, wouldn't you say?
I've never seen or heard about that before, but I don't doubt that it will or might eventually happen. But if it ever does, that would be really scary, who knows what could happen, you could be FSOD'ed or even corrupted.
If that does happen, I'll stick to my usual deserted blocks or if ALL of the ships start being attacked, I'll cancel my Hunter's License and just play offline again.
That's near impossible, I'd guess. This is just a gut feeling, but that would require some major recoding. You're talking about combining areas of the game that don't even work the same way. Not nearly as simple as (I'm guessing here) hacking a weapon or item would be.
No, the only thing I've heard about is, well I was wandering around Altair last time I got online, and in one block this one group was discussing some code that formats your entire card. But they seemed to be discussing some odd theories alongside it, so I didn't really know what to take seriously.
Someone has been able to map (for example) the forest level into the lobby but none of the skins/textures. So you can walk around a lobby as if it was forest but still only see the Lobby. Very easy in fact.
A forest lobby, totally open with no weps/ monsters or boxes would be kinda cool. But if there were like vulmers or bartles or whatever there... *lvl 1 joins lobby, lvl 1 dies... cant use moons in lobby have to reset* unless you enabled items to! Hey, this would allow you to get past the only 4 people per team! How awsome the fights would be with like 30 people there. Of course, more monsters would have to exist. But realistically, this is never going to happen. Also im pretty sure it would be reset to normal by ST and would also be highly illegal.
Pioneer 2 can be loaded, as well as any other map, however it will have no doors, no people, no monsters, and no teliporters. but yes t is possible, you can also load the lobby map while inside a room. :laugh:
Yeah, they kinda did that with that ruins area in ttf to get the striker of chao, never been there? Well you know it is a pioneer 2 version because one, its a p2 to p2 type teleport (visually as well as in the coding i think) and also because of the lack of doors monsters and NPCs, although theyre only really there in a quest.
Hell yes its possible! I have done it before! The code is public, but unless you have the -unreleased- code, its client sided meaning only you can see it. But this is kinda how I PK. Everyone is in the lobby, but im really in like, a game/in the lobby. However, with the lobby reload code I can make it to where you see boomas and such in the lobby. Prob. is they would kill you cuz if you don't have items in lobby etc. you can't fight back,lol.
