Hackers in general? Mostly true, except for those who play on non-ST servers. Mind you, there is usually no harmful hacking on those severs, they made patches and packet banning systems (user+packet activation=auto ban usually from a player mod). I wish ST would do the same, I still sometimes get FSOD on ST servers.

ok even i think this thread has fullfilled its purpose so erm should it be closed?

I agree there Anti, but if they're FSOD'ing each other like sexually placated monkeys on unofficial servers, they ain't bothering me.

I think within the past year, I've only been FSOD by the servers themselves once, (and lost a Elysion at the same time....), and I think only by some nooblet with an inferiority and god complex once, the ST servers on GC are pretty much clean now, certainly the JP/EU servers, I'm still pretty wary of most US servers, though in extreme cases, I will use the sub-lobby's for a few minutes.

Last time I played most people were playing in a particular JP ship/block/lobby because they heard JP ships were clean. Turns out in everyone going there they just brought the hackers along to, ironic huh?

Which is why I never go into the densly populated JP ships, and when I feel unsure, jump to a sub-lobby.

Besides, I thought most of the anal-retentives had sodded off to BB and started wrecking that game.

You would think that, wouldnt you? But you cant FSOD on BB, and most of the 'hackers' are AR script kiddies and cant put together any material of their own. Going over to BB takes away their illusionary sense of power over others, so they stick to GC.

Yeah, but whilst this is true, many people are so silly they don't realise this. I played FFXI for ages and never noticed any hacking. But it was a rather mundane game, so I quit that to. You'd think games manufacturers would be forced to put "warning, your hard drive may get hax0red" on MMOs these days.

Shadow,supersonic etc. are not beause u r then hacking a hack (easy to do but is not legit) altho flowen Night or any others are not legit either because they were made FOR THE GAME sonic wasnt so people want sonic on it. BTw they cant fsod because its a game fault



WHAT is Fsod??? some1 SEd fake SCreeN OF death coz all i know is that its a fault in the game
