From a psychological point of view, doing destructive actions against someone is linked to either compulsions to weild power over someone or imposing your own nihilistic feelings of no self worth on others.

I have no problems with Hackers so long as they don't mess up my or other peoples data. I very rarely accept items from people so Duping and Bank Modding don't affacet me. It's just LSOD/FSOD/FSODX people that bother me, so I just leave them to their own devices on whichever US server is the current dodgy hang out.

Living on a game 24/7 can be an issue as playing games is a form of escapism. If you live on PSO during all your spare time, what are you trying to escape from?

It's just a game. Legits work way harder at pso then people like me who just sit in the lobby and talk to people, occasionally qfsoding someone I don't like. I play that way cause I find it more enjoyable. If I were going around beating people with a baseball bat that could be linked to psychological problems but when I get on pso to mess with the noobs and anal legits and talk I don't think "I hate myself and everything" I think "alright i get to talk to people and piss off noobs"

Wow, people take pso waaaaaaaay too seriously.

I think there is a vast sea of difference between your FSODing people who get on your nerves and the people who simply go online to FSOD as many people as possible. Perhaps I should reiterate what I was saying....

That's like me saying I'll copy Windows XP and give it to lots of people and charge them half the price, it's still illegal, and against the rules, rules that I respect, if you don't respect that you're not supposed to play as an NPC, you can't complain about FSOD or corruption, as you've lost that right, if you don't respect the rules and ToU, why should anyone else, if you get FSOD or Corruption and you're not legit yourself, how exactly are you the victim?

I know the FSOD codes and methods, but I don't use them, I rarely even use the Anti-Codes now, but I don't use NPC's, I don't dupe, I don't FSOD, because I respect the rules, and Sega, (even though they are a bunch of money grabbing tight-a*ses).

In which case, since someone stole a mobile phone from one of my friends a couple of years ago, I'm out to steal one for them, makes it right then by your theory.

well now look pso = game, i dont no any game that hasnt had cheats used on it at 1 point even if ur not the one cheating, now people break rules and dont give a s***
now som1 stealing a fone u do somthin about it (tell the police, buy a new 1 etc) at the end of the day if people want to break rules and that and you cant do nothing about it then just leave it

it is a very good point, what was said but you have some fools (not saying no usernames) that dont care bout none of that as long as hackers are gone,
like what was said earlier people take pso way to seriously and it is true.

People don't care about hackers [I know I don't] as long as they don't interfere with their game time. Some people play the game just to relax for awhile, and fsoding them isn't helping them any. Yes, I know you can do this[relax] offline, but I do it online because I have companions there that I like to hang out with.

All in all, this is just a game. You won't have your characters and/or items forever anyway. If you really care for those things like they are real life prized possessions, then you my friend have a problem. :bandit:
