ok so i had just turned on the ngc when it came up with memory card is a corrupt would u like to reformat so i turn off the ngc and check the memory card, it appears to be fine and when i turn on the ngc again i find out that i can still play as sanga and all my other characters weird huh? :S :S :S :S

You dont know how close you just were to destrouying youre PSO characters. You sir, are the luckiest man alive.

Eh, this proves you have to
1) Get a new, first party memory card
2) Back your characters weapons on to another memory card, third party or first.

it would be horrible to lose all your characters. so buy a 1st party memory card and corruption will be less likly.

I bought a 1st party card.......and I've been corrupted 3 times. the first a major (because I had two high lv. characters on them) and the other two minor. It really depends on your type of corruption. Mine was a total corruption with everything corrupt. Some people only have their guild card files corrupted. It just depends...

You will NEVER get corrupted if you don't Power off during saving process or get FSOD-X'd, with a first party controller, this is from my knowledge.

I think you mean memory card, not controller, but yeah, that's correct. The Nintendo brand memory cards can corrupt if:
1) you disturb the save process (pull out the card, turn off power, etc.)
2) you mess it up while transferring data (don't know if it'll screw up both cards, or just that one character, but don't test it to find out)
3) some jerk FSODX's you

Whereas, a 3rd party card can corrupt whenever it feels like.

You are lucky, Sanga.... very, very lucky. I'd suggest starting a file on a 1st party card and using that as your main character, becaouse who knows when your current one will corrupt and you'll lose everything. If you transfer your weapons and mags over to your new file, you'll be level 100 in no time. (I started a Ramar 2 days ago and he's level 46 and in Ultimate already.)

My firend experiemnced 2) when I came over his house, new to multi player. He got his character back without trouble with the weapons some how, forgot how. My character was completely safe.

it has happend twice once when sanga woz lv 40 ish

u shuld prob invest in a 1st party card then, not that ugly see through waste of space u have.
