Yeah, so I don't quite know what happened, but it was a very wierd case of perfect timing on the enemies' part.

I was playing with Zelda, in the last room of Ruins 3, using my Psycho Wand and doing some major nuking. I did a couple Razondes to take out some Del-D's, and then a Dark Bringer was coming so I did Rabarta in hopes of freezing it. It didn't freeze, but it began to go red. Then a Indi Belra smacked me down and brought me down to 82 HP and it made my PB bar fill. One of those 2 things made my Nidra invince me. Meanwhile the Bringer started charging his laser, and I stood up and used Resta at the same moment the Bringer drained my TP. I already had the flash of light go off, and the healed health appeared on the bar, but had not yet started filling back up, and then the TP drain caused me to take about 500 damage (I had 82 HP) because of the Psycho Wand even though I was invincible (it turns out, the Wand drains HP whenever you lose TP, not just with techs; so Mericarols can do that thing that drains TP and hurt you too). Then I died... quite confused at what had just happened.

Then I appeared back in P2 and when I went to feed my mag, it still had 120% Synchro... I don't know if I lost any Meseta though because I had recently piped back to P2 and sold/bought stuff and deposited my money, so I was at 0 Meseta when I died.

Then I found that I didn't leave a Telepipe so I had to walk all the way back through Ruins3 and when I reached the final room, I dispatched those 2 enemies properly (and a few more after them) and proceded on to killing Falz, still quite unsure of what happened.

Can anyone explain this? This is the craziest thing that ever happened to me.
- I was invinicible, yet died
- I lost HP at the exact same time I was healing by Resta
- I died, and did not loose Synchro, and maybe didn't loose money (but I was at 0 anyway)

the synchro didn't go dwon becuse you were invinciable (these are my guesses)
the psycho wand killed you
and they time d it just right with the reasta that you didn't have time to do it, OR ypou restaed., but as it was going up, and the HP didn't rweally a[pear, thats happened with me with gush weapons i thinik....

Yeah, the blueish bar of HP appeared, but it had not yet started to fill up green yet... But what was weird was how when the screen went red and I was lying there, my Nidra was still invincing me! But I was dead! And I still got sent to the Medical Center, but Nidra's Synchro didn't go down.

I think I'll try to duplicate that and see if I lost money too. It'll be kind of tough though.

I just realized I put this in Item Findings... whoops... I meant to put it in the Lobby. My bad. :$ (that tends to happen to me when I don't post it directly... I typed it up first then copied it becuase it was such a long post and my mom was on the phone at the time anyway)

if you are invincible there are some atacks that can kill you or do something
- dark bringer (ultimate) charge (it will deequip your weapon even if you are on the ground)
- chaos/dark bringer tp steel
- dark falz 2nd form hp steel
- dark falz 3rd form when he steels your soul if you hit him you lose hp(if you do 900 damage you will lose 900hp
- some weapon (stealing hp from you) can kill you

now......if you die your mag does not lose sincro, only if you save your game with your mag in the inventory (put the mag in the bank to save sincro)

Psycho Wand is a fun weapon, no? The Meri's drain is even worse... >_<

Actually you died for the third Dark Bringer charge beam, it ALWAYS kill, doesn't matter if you're invencible, using resta, etc.

And about the resta part I really don't know :S . But all this was fast, like eveything at once? Or you could use resta (even if it not healed you) then take damage?

in ultimate the dark bringer (atack) can do more than 1300 damage
you can escape if
you have more than 1300 hp;
invencibility, you canot die even if he its you with 3 atacks.

Maybe in DC version.

But when I was in that quest "Seek my Master" (on GC), I was invencible and Dark Bringer third shot killed me :S .

are you sure
maybe when he hit you you stoped beeing invencible.
like he shot 2 times (you are invencible) you are safe and the 3rd kill you (the invencibility last for some time, not forever)
