I was just wandering through the Mag guides of the other great PSO website (PSOWorld) when I discovered something amazing that I had never heard of before. Please excuse me if this has been posted somewhere else already, I can't read everything.

Example:

Nobby Noob has just died just before the boss teleporter of Caves 3, he is offline with Larry Legit who has no Ryuker/Telepipes/Moonatomisers/Reversa. Normally the guys would have to quite the level and walk back to the Boss Teleporter - shame.

But what if Larry Legit has has Mags PB charged to 100 and has the Healing or Shifta and Deband Photon Blasts. Well, when Larry uses one of those, Nobby Noob should hold in the Y button of his Gamecube Controller to donate 10% of his PB and get an automatic Resurrection.

I read about this in whiteninja's Stat and Mag Guide - but he said you have to press X. Have you tried it yet? I'm sure it does work.

By the way, I loved the names (especially Larry Legit)!

Done this a few times accidentally, always useful to know that there is a good reason behind it.

Apologise to whiteninja. I'm pretty sure the PSOworld said Y, but I guess the proof will be in the pudding so to speak (ie you either know which button to press or you'll just have to give it a try).

how do you power up PB's if you dont have 100 pb energy?i read somewhere its r+y, but now its y, or x.... anyone know for sure?

It works we had to do it for brim before on ult. so he could revive me.

I know for 100% certainly it is the Y button. I use my PB energy to boost other people's Photon Blasts all the time. You can press Y three times for a total of 30 extra PB enegy.

I thought that it would be Y, since it doesn't actually do anything, but I'd not tried it.

You can donate PB by pressing this when someone is doing the Summon Dance for their PB - it drains a bit of your PB to add power to theirs (and raise you if they're using Mylla and Youlla).

You have to be alive to recieve Shifta and Deband, so you simply are alive.
