i hate nintendo, they do not improve, great games (1 or 2 at least)
Playstation has the good sports games, Xbox has bassicaly Halo, Nintendo are a huge market. They are the best rpg makers out there.
No offence to Sega in anyway, or you K_I_R_E_E_K, but sgea is way past its prime. it had its day, it was great in its day, but now welcome to the modern world. Sega CD is long gone. It was a good game when it came out,. but so many better games out today. You also should never judge a game or system or company or anything for that matter, till you have tried all it can offer you.

Microsoft has absolutely nothing. Sure. It has Halo, a phenomenal FPS, but not the best. Definitely not. Times are changing and other companies are adapting to this change to make games better than Halo. Killzone was one of them. Microsoft now has nothing except for DOA and Rumble Roses. But that's okay, I have many more resources for hot CG chicks.
My two cents on that side.

You really don't get it, do you? Your opinions mean nothing. This is reality that we're referring to. Apparently not everyone feels the same as you, which is why Sega had to be put out of the console business. Trust me, I liked Sega, and I still hold some faith in it, even after the abysmal Shadow the Hedgehog game. Sega made good games in the past. It's current ideals in making games however have been nothing short of pretty damn bad, with a few exceptions, but definitely not enough to make that much of a difference to the general public aside from those who do have faith in Sega. By then the hole that they dug themselves was way too deep for them to get out of.
Sure, I can understand, you like Sega. I like Sega too. But just looking at the current condition of things, you can very easily tell what other people think, and what the majority of people think. Now, I would figure that the people on this site, granted it's a PSO site, are Sega fans, but we really don't need biased opinions trying to play themselves off as fact.

One little thing K_I_R_E_E_K, dreamcast was launched before the days of the nintendo 64 and playstation. Two words to you dude MOVE ON! I know sega had dished out good games, but like orphen said not many good sega games have come out. Many are just Old Sonic games brought to new disk. Seriously, you seem to be living in the past. You know they have PSO for gamecube..and I dont think they make Blue Burst, Episode 1&2 plus, or episode 3 for DC. Just saying.

Sega might have dropped out of the console industry, but it definitely still has a chance making games. They have more than enough influence for it.

I will admit that the Shadow the Hedgehog game was a most horrible failure, I only kept playing after the first level because Shadow is easily the best Sonic character.
On a similar note, does anyone know if there is a Shadow NPC in PSO that could be hacked for a player character? Because if there is a way to play as Shadow, I might have to learn how to hack... Not that I would ever learn how to hack weapons, because that is very stupid. But for Shadow, I would learn how to hack that pretty fast. I mean, come on, it's SHADOW, the character that inspired my xbox live gamertag and my screen name on these foums.
And Ark, They also have PSO 1&2 for Xbox. I don't think they have ever made it for the PS2, which is a bit odd...
When the Dreamcast came onto the market, it was so far ahead of everything else. It was the first system to feature online play. (I recently discovered that it was over a dial-up connection though, so I don't think it could have been all that great of a service.) On the same subject, does anyone know if the Dreamcast servers are still up? I heard that a few games can still be played online, but I don't know how reliable someone on Xbox Live would be for this information, so I am asking you.

I agree SilentShadow13 the PSP does have, and is, impressive hardware.
I agree Phantom, technically the PSP surpasses the DS in every way. Now this is a big but, but why should i buy a PSP when my cell/mobile phone does all that a PSP does, has a better battery life and was also free?
Its the masses who decide whats best overall though and they have spoken and are continuing to speak, so to say, in favour of nintendos offering.
Games matter, not specs or wether or not hardware can do this or that.

Arrogantelf Wrote:...technically the PSP surpasses the DS in every way...True, except for one very important statistic: the DS is the cheapest piece of crap out there by a lot.
Arrogantelf Wrote:...Games matter...Also very true, but gamers are becoming obsessed with multi-media abilities and internet connectivity, the things that the psp is very well known for. Sony is hoping that this trend will continue, and I think it will pay off.
If I can get it to work, look at this screenshot:
