probably 2 of the best games on the gamecube, they have both made me play for 20 hours straight to complete them both:

completion stats:
Metroid Prime 1

Scans: 77%
Items 75%

health 99 + 1400 (14 upgrades)
missiles 170/170 (33 upgrades)
power bombs: 7/7 (3 upgrades)

Metroid prime 2

scans: 95%
items: 100%
health: 99 + 1400
missiles: 250/250
power bombs: 10/10
i liked the atmosphere of part 1, but then it got a little bit frustrating later. so i skipped beating it - and part 2.
How far did you get?...
that pirate boss. the last boss before the final one.
Omega Pirate... you really must beat him you get the 1337 looking phazon suit it looks like this:

looks better than the light suit on MP2, but only slightly
hmm... tho he was pretty difficult...
how many life upgrades you got?
no clue, last time i played it is a while ago. i think it was almost full. maybe missing 100 or 200.
however, do you have your weapon-selection on the digipad or on the c-stick? i got the feeling that even tho you can switch those two (and i switched them because its more intuitive), the controls are focused on the standard setting.
Both awesome games, and Nintendo exclusives yay. Well:

Snes metroid 3 - 100% in 2h 48m
Metroid Prime 1 - 100% in 8h 23m
Metroid Prime 2 - 100% in 9h 35m

Quadraxis(spl) although easy is probably the best boss ever for sheer size lol and the annihilator beam is awesome in every way, looks, homing as well. Check out that arm cannon on a charge a.beam shot, the way light and dark energy feed into it then BOOM, let that sound wave go. Also i agree.......Phazon suit>light suit.

Gonna replay 2 to see if i can beat my 100% time whilst waiting for MP3.
heh, mp3 got announced? ^^;
