It's worth your money. And it takes more skill than Mario Kart. There's certain tactics and stuff.
And day. They may have went to their Alt form (= to samus ball) and waited till they got close and then changed back into the biped form (the actual person).
I use that to overtake people.
nah i was not in ball mode, also the max energy you have is 199 and i think thats to low cus i die in 6 seconds with that -.-. from what i have played of it. its amazing and a must get for all ds users wi-fi or not. can someone please post about wi-fi and whats it like because i would like to know
wi-fi is basically wireless internet that lets you play against anyone, pretty much like if you were doing multi with a friend, but with slightly more features on wi-fi.
I "think" this is how Metroid Hunters works on Wi-fi...
You find people similar to the way you do in Mario Kart, by just letting it find random people for you. The matches are for up to four players and if I recall correctly... it's always first to 7 kills or whoever has the highest score after 7 minutes.
I think you can re-adjust the settings if you're playing with friends though, just gotta get their friend code first. Having the friend code also allows you to communicate via mic and text chat. You can also set rivals. This can be people you don't really like but want to face many times so you may be able to pummel them... or people you want to avoid because they can hand you your head on a platter.
Please note... Nintendo is still fixing up their Wi-Fi mode on Metroid Hunters. Many people cannot get four players in a game and their statistics chart is a little buggy. I'm not sure when they'll fix it, all I know is they're working on it.
You also get a few extra stats for your Wi-Fi record instead of just wins and losses... the only other one I can remember at the moment is "connection rating". This rating tells the player that are facing you if you're a cheapskate who disconnects if you're going to lose. So no mid-game disconnecting!!!
Well that's all I can really remember. Feel free to correct any of my undoubtedly large number of inaccurcies in that big of information.
I don't play this game online merely because I don't like the control style in the game. I probably won't ever play it.

lol i know what it is jarl i do play wi-fi mario kart.
cheers pink for that, now i know at lest what to do on wi-fi and find high connection rating people, not like mario kart. every game i play someone disconnects -.-.
you cant really find them. your put with random people and you only see their connection rating after you add them as a rival. =(
I have never gotten 4 people. 3 people only twice. 2 all the time. 1 when someones disconnects because they are losing.
i think 199 health is just fine. any more and it would take the challenge out of the game. ive ended plenty of games without there having been enough kills meaning we last plenty of time with 199. :S
And now that that's out of the way, everyone, what character do you use?
I love Noxus.
I like Weavel in matches where there is more than 1 other person. For the 1 on 1's i like to use.... that.. electric guy. haha. i forget his name. i havent played in a week or so.

I haven't played in a bit either. But you mean Sylux.
My copy of Metroid Prime: Hunters finally arrived this morning!
