Aw, thanks for the feedback, five 'yes' votes is encouraging. I see I'm not the only one to be on a long-distance relationship. I hope 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' is true, but there are moments when I, and I hate to admit, feel like I'm going about my normal life just to fill up time until I can see him again; only in being in love can one be having such unhealthy thoughts :S.
If you truely love each other then you'll love each other no matter how far away from each other you may be.
What everyone else said basicly. I know both you and your partner and i would be suprised if it dident survive :O
I sort of believe that long distance relationships can work. For someone it wont, but for others it can work.
I am currently engaged in one with a very cute girl from Mississippi...(She has such a cute accent =3) And though we do the tournament circut together and see each other multiple times a year. If you don't ever keep in contact then it won't work out. Then there's the element of human touch. It's much easier to stay with someone if you can see/smell/taste/touch/hear them.
usually i would say that it wouldnt, adn i voted no, but overall it really does depend on the commitment the two people have for eachother, i personally wouldnt want to be in that position, but it all depends, if the couple is truely inlove, and truely committed, it will work out, definately, but if there is any bit of doubt about their love or commitment, then it may not
I certainly thin that they work, and I also believe that they can be more or if not just a beautiful as a relationship when two people are in the same place! What could possibly be better than a love with no limits, that can stretch any distance? It's a different kind of love in some ways, but beautiful no matter what.
Taste?!?!? ajdfoesef...you should probably "not" include that. As for Mirinee, don't worry. It'll work out.
Thanks for the opinions. This is truly a test of love.
I'm just going to pull myself together, since it is foolish to suffer from "lovesickness". Keeping in touch is no problem, since this is the 21st century after all, and I can keep in touch with him every single day.

I'm also a very optimistic person, and now I no longer doubt.

it maybe a long distance relationship, but it is still a relationship.
no one likes to suffer "lovesickness" that's for sure.
it is good to be optimist
