this is a fanfic about my new RAmarl, tracy c. veryone else seems to be doing it, so i suppose ill join the party 
chapter one:
Tracy, who had been 18 at the time of the explosion, had red hair, which she grew long behind her back. As a baby, she had astonished her parents by showing the starts of becoming a force, as she was very proficient with techniques. However, as soon as she picked up her first rifle for training, as was compulsory for all children beyond the age of 13, she had discovered she was a natural with a rifle. As she grew up she concentrated on her two main talents of ranging and techniques, and she had just grasped the hardest techs. satisfactorily to use them when the explosion came. At the time, she had been practising with a new type of weapon that had recently been made. They were like machine guns, and you were meant to use two of them with one hand each, but Tracy liked just using one with both hands, because she felt she had more control that way. She had been browsing the arms shop for another machine gun as her old one had become useless as she faced stronger and stronger targets to practise on, and had seen the perfect one. The machine gunâs photon strip was a beautiful gold, and the extra blocks on one side showed that it was a stronger than normal model. As she examined it closer, she discovered that it had been made by a master craftsmen, and was much more accurate than any of the other weapons that were on offer. There was a peculiar slot in one side, disrupting the dark grey of the gun. When she asked what the slot was for, the man behind the counter went into a long scientific waffle about how you put money in, and somehow it combined with the bullets to make them faster, more accurate and more powerful. Tracy was about to ask how much it would be for the pair (none of the arms dealers understood why she only wanted one) when the explosion happened. She went flying over the counter, pushed by the force of the explosion, still holding the single gun into the arms dealer who softened her landing against the back of the shop. Then she fell unconscious.
Tracy awoke, still holding the single gun to her belly, the metal cold against her bare skin. As she looked around, she could see that the place was in absolute ruin. The person running the arms shop, who had saved her life, had lost his head and the sticky red blood was all over her. She stood up slowly, feeling very dizzy, and on unsteady feet she let the adrenalin rush through her system. When she felt steady again, she looked at where the weapons were. Her single machine gun had survived, however the other was unusable, nearly bent beyond recognition. There was a saber type, which was a beautiful red colour. She took it, and a rifle. Moving over to the green coloured shop, she didnât stop to look at the fate of the owner, but pulled a few tech discs and some healing items out of the cold storage area they were kept in. putting them in her pack as well, she moved to the final shop, were you could buy armours. There was a large fly feasting on the owner of this shop, and she slapped it away. It turned around, and aimed a sting with its needle-like mouth at her. She dodged it easily, pulled out her red sabre that she had salvaged moments before and flicked it on. Nothing happened. Annoyed, she threw the useless handle at the persistent insect, punched it then pulled another handle up from the old weapons shop. Flicking it on, she saw that this blade was pink, her favourite colour. Rising the blade high above her head, she swung it at the annoying insect. She missed the main body, however she cut off a wing. The insect fell to the ground, then tried to stand on its legs, though Tracy crushed it beneath her boot. Going back to the armour shop, she found a suit of body armour that gave good all round coverage. It even had 2 slots on the back to plug in power-up units. She found one of these units on the ground, and examining it determined that it would make her attacks stronger. There was another unit lying on the ground, and this one would make her more resilient to fire attacks. She shrugged, and pocketed it just in case it was useful. Another one of the annoying flies had come to eat the blood on her uniform, and Tracy didnât hesitate, pulling out the rifle and hitting it with the stock. The insect was stunned, and Tracy pulled out her machine gun and fired 3 shots into it, shredding the body into small fragments. She turned around, and saw immediately many more of the flying bugs picking up food, then taking it to a much larger thing, that looked like a stomach on legs. Tracy scouted around the many feeding insects to a guard. He was still alive, but barely. Tracy lifted his head and whispered to him. He opened his eyes, which were bloodshot, and muttered to her âlocker three hundred and⦠and⦠twâ. She looked into his eyes, and saw the glimmer of life in his eyes gone. She stood up, firstly relieving him of his rifle which was infinitely better than hers, and decided to try and find whatever locker it was. She ran to the bank, and jumped over the counter, crushing one of the feeding insects with her knee when she landed. Tracy stood up, and walked to the â300â section. Firstly, she checked 312. there wasnât anything good, just a bit of money there. Then she checked 320. inside was some kind of bazooka. She had seen one of these before, in a meeting to decide whether she and 500 other people wanted to join the heavy armoured corps. There was a picture of this, apparently just a prototype, codenamed INFERNO. She examined the bazooka closely. It said âINFERNO Bâ on it in large letters. âso this is the real thingâ mussed Tracy. She pulled it out of the locker, and saw there were two other things it. There was a better suite of armour, much better in fact because it had 4 slots and added protection, and also a shield type thing that you wore on the left arm. She strapped it on, and felt a pricking sensation in her back. Spinning around, she saw that there were about 12 of the insects all intent on eating her. She swung the bazooka at the nearest fly like a club, separating it from its wings, and shot the next 2 to approach her. The bazooka seemed a bit slow, but it was very powerful to make up for this. As another insect flew forward and tried to sting her, she swung the shield on the left arm and was rewarded with an explosion of light as she bugsâ needle-like nose and the shield connected. The fly flew back, surprised by this display of fireworks and Tracy took the chance to exact her revenge, incinerating it with a fireball. She hit a switch on the side of the bazooka, and it powered up. She fired at the other bugs, and the bazookasâ recoil made it leap out of her hands and slam into a locker a little way behind her. The locker sprung open, number 324, and a long weapon, looking like a crossbow fell out. She picked it up, aimed at a moth and fired. 5 bullets flew out the barrel, and these destroyed 5 flies immediately giving her a few metres in which to work. She quickly looked in all the other 320 lockers, and was rewarded by a unit that made you stronger, a unit to give more HP, a unit to give more defence and a unit that gave more evasion. There were many more, and Tracy pocketed them all as the may be useful later. There were even 2 of the hp boosting units. At the final locker, 329, Tracy found something she had never seen before. It looked like a scorpion, and when she picked it up it flew out of her hands to float just behind her left shoulder. She instantly felt a lot better- more powerful with magic, more accurate and much stronger. She also felt like she could be hit more before she died. She turned around, and realised that her strength was rapidly decreasing. âthat fly must have poisoned meâ she thought, and used an old spell for getting rid of mild ailments. It was very useful when you were ill, she found as she could instantly heal herself of the common cold and flu. She could even heal those around her. She stored the crossbow like thing in her bag and thought of a good name for it. Ill call it a shotgun, she thought, having seen the ancient relics in her museum and seen that they worked like this crossbow. Finally, she picked up the bazooka, and fired 2 shots at the stomach on legs. It fell over, and then seemed to rot. Stepping around the carcass that was now no more than half a leg she walked to the teleporter and activated it to take her down to the surface of ragol. There was nothing left on pioneer for her, except to occasionally salvage healing items.
