Hello all you pso players out there im pretty sure some of you know me while others dont but to those who dont i am kashima of ragol.co ! Ahem anyway i have been playing pso for over a year now and i think i am nearing the point where i have drawn all the entertainment from it i can while remaining offline. So i come here to ask all of you for help. I am an aol user i have dial up and version 9.0 im also working with a copy of pso plus is there anyway i can play online with these tools alone ? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. i know i will have to buy an online adapter of some sort and pay for a license

After a 2 week hiatus (apparently, it's important to make time for work/girlfriend/offline friends etc!) I decided to renew my HL today for more online fun and games (current favourite being avoid FSODers). Strangely, I've tried to access playsega several times both via PC and GC and found the site to be largely unresponsive. I've mailed tech support at Sega but so far, nada.

Has anyone else noticed problems with the site?

I was just of Regulus:04-04 when a hunter called 'F@~|< you'* enters the lobby and screams alot of stuff in very bad 13375p34k and Lo, my first FSOD experiance.
so i kill my GC, turn her back on and inspect my savefile, luckly everything was fine and not a single item was missing, which leads me to question my previous belief that all FSOD's corrupt your gamefile, is this not the case?

I've been wondering about this for awhile, actually... is there a Megid that actually kils anything at a decent rate? My FOnewm knows a level 18 Megid (mostly because I haven't found any better Megid disks yet), and with a God/Technique equipped on him that goes up to level 21. Yet this Megid works, well, never.

I couldn't figure out why until I looked up the enemies' EDK in Ultimate... um, wow. No wonder I couldn't kill a Gulgus-Gue with it. Kind of lame, though, isn't it? You'd think that Megid in the top ten levels should work at least some of the time... but here we have enemies with common EDK levels of 70 to 90 or even 100 (in the case of a Hildetorr). And in the Ruins, it's crazy-looking... anything but a Arlan/Merlan/Del-D or a claw has 100 EDK (unless PSOW's data is even more inaccurate than I thought). How in the world are you supposed to instant-kill enemies, even with level 30 Megid?

It's funny, the first time I picked up a Megid disk and tried out the technique, it didn't seem too useful. "Oh well, it'll get more useful when I get better levels..." I told myself... ¬_¬
