how much play time would a character need to start finding rares?

There's this new Anime out in japan called Air, it actually came out in japan a few days ago. I downloaded it from animesuki and it seems promising. It's funny too. Check it out, and tell me what you think about it.

at the moment my lv 109 racaseal uses a ruby bullet and a frozen shooter, which aren't exactly bad weapons but being a racaseal my atp is dismal, any suggestions on getting a higher atp gun quickly? :S

anyways, I was wondering how it shoots, I do know it fires only once (can't combo) but how is the range? is it a spread like the needle or just a normal rifle like the frozen shooter but with piercing?
