Would you consider twinking to be cheating?

I don't think it is (mostly because it's the only way I can get through the ruins without getting pwn3d)

Hey episode 3 players! Getting FSODed by other peeps? Read here!
Posted by: Ivan - 05-07-2004, 03:32 PM - Forum: Lobby - Replies (21)

If you grow tired of vega players FSODing you or your friends, tell everyone you know to switch to the japanese language setting, you can't get FSODed.

Now you probobly wounder how you will still be able to speak in english? No problem! Simply press the key 1 space the left of the "1" key. (You should only have to do this once if at all) This key also changes the various types the japanese language allows you to speak in! Such as a wierd english font, the normal font, and 2 japanese fonts.

Note this should work for the PAL version.

To switch, simply go to "Options" from the main menu, and select language, an option to switch to japanese should work. And you can switch back any time you want!

Now it's a bit difficult if you don't know very much japanese (if at all) but you get used to it, and this way you wont miss out on tournaments either becaue you got FSODed.

There is a specific FSODer to watch out for. <D3m0n-> if I'm correct, or something along the lines of that. Lee-Yoshi and I were entered for a tournament and <D3m0n-> entered the lobby and FSODed the entire lobby, everyone who was in the english setting (including lee-yoshi) came back a said they were FSODed, of course I didn't get FSODed because I was in my japanese language setting. He FSODs somehow through word select, which causes him to say ??? > (Player who would get FSODed) And he can usually be found in Vega 2-c1. Though last night he was in Vega 1-c2.

Please be careful and take these precausions!
