Rare Creatures - damage - 18-05-2005
lol I was doing central dome fire swirl with my whitill ranger and i a hildetorr appeared without piping.
dropped me my second frozen shooter.
made a snow queen out of it.

I pipe if I figure the item the enemy drops is worth it. I did a lot of research before deciding to pipe for my frozen shooter. Of course... I think I have a higher patience level than most people... SEVEN FRIGGIN HIDELTORRS!!!! Ahh... I used to pipe for Hideltorrs/Hildeblues when three drop in "Letter from Lionel" but since "Fire Swirl" has four...

LfL is overrated for Hilde piping, FoS is better than it, and CDFS is better than FoS becuase the enemies drop faster. In CDFS it also takes longer to get to the piping spot though, so unless you can do the first half of the quest fast enough, you might as well do FoS.

Thing is, LfL enemies look like they regenerate. in FoS two don't make the animation of coming from the sky. However, once I piped a 'Blue and it appeared all the way to the left, and that eliminates the\at there are only 2 regen Hildes.

Uhh... rare enemies don't drop PD's (or atleast I've heard no people claiming to have been PD'd by them). Rare enemies just drop good items at good rates. There's no easy way to hunt PD's, except for just playing.

Heldetorr dropped meseta, monfluids, and one photon drop when i was piping for frozen shooter... or it was a dream (i only dream about playing video games when i start getting tooo involved)
