Beats related to item drops - Omar - 11-07-2004 Beat time theory has yet to be proved and won't ever be proved imho. Weapons can be coded to be beat-powered (Morning Glory & Heaven's Punisher), but I don't believe something as random as drop rates or rare enemy appearance rates could be. I defeat the dragon on very hard and he gave me a Yamato and my beat was 001 so i tried again and i beat him on 001 and all i got was 2000 meseta!
