I know how you feel. Earlier when I said something about asking a girl out a long time ago and she said effectively the same thing to me. What I found that helped me was to remember that there are plenty of other fish in the sea and that one day you will find someone that you like just as much.

In any case, there's nothing wrong with trying to find someone else, if for nothing more than to spend time with. Just a friend who makes you feel better when you get into moods like this. SC-God-IX may be right, I know several other girls who have done that before (sometimes I am ashamed of the actions of some of my gender). If she did it because her friends pressued her, it's still wrong, no matter what, and you deserve someone who won't act like that. It's childish

It seems as if most of the people on this forum are for the first time becoming seriously interested in the opposite sex.
Back to you Sesshomaru, really all that matters is yourself. If she was childish enough and stupid enough to break up with you because of her friends, she still isn't emotionally/mentally ready for a serious relationship. Eventually she'll start to change her priorities but until then there is really nothing you can do other than let it pass. I know you liked her a lot (may I say loved?) but she obviously wasn't ready for the sort of relationship that you wanted.

well, from the last email she sent me.....she seems either pissed off, or just upset at the whole thing......and right now I feel both sad and happy for sending it.......upset bc I probably hurt her, and happy bc I felt like I wanted to hurt her.
Icedragon......my entire life has been h*ll, fortunately for me.....it just may start cooling down for once in my life......either that, or it could end up heating up if the only emotion I'm left with is sadness.
EDIT: Thank you all that posted here.....your advice was quite inspiring and allowed me to see a different view on this whole thing......but like I said in my first post.....she was the one that brought me out my depression in the first place.....so I just can't help it but feel bad about doing such a thing to her.

And to Icedragon: You may believe in God, but I'll give you a rough estimation of 85% of the active members of these boards do not.
Hell is a ludicrous concept..........so is a benevolent God, look at the poverty, war, hate, and injustices around you........then tell me you believe in a God that 'loves' us through tourture.....enough said...
