Harry Potter - Sebastian - 20-07-2005

i never read the lotr series but the movies are already long enough... :O

Harry Potter - Double Edge - 20-07-2005

Me neither, but I've read a bit of Book 1 - enormous amounts of detail in LotR.

Harry Potter - Moonwraith - 20-07-2005

I've read LotR - that was a bit of a marathon though, by the end I was losing my will a bit because it was so long and detailed. The movies cut out quite a bit as you might imagine.

Harry Potter - adrina_kellers - 20-07-2005

6 is the best one so far... but it would have been nice with a bit happier ending.

Harry Potter - Double Edge - 26-07-2005

I'm quite a lot further in Book 6 now; y'know, savoring it. haha. Suure, I'm just a slow reader. It's getting quite intense and, if possible, even more interesting!

Harry Potter - Mirinee - 26-07-2005

Hehe, I'm on holiday in America right now and I'm glad to see the Harry Potter books are here too. I and my little sister Cassandra have waited two long years for Half Blood Prince and we bought it on the day of release (we were in Canada at the time, [Image: silly.gif]). Taking turns, but after a lot of yelling at each other to not give spoilers, we finished reading it in just 3 days.

I have always loved Harry Potter. For me, even waiting for book 2, The Chamber of Secrets, seemed to take forever (a whole month! It was 1998, I think). We love Rowling's narration style. The plot is very well thought out and the characters' personalities are very real. I agree about it not being just for children; I've seen many adults reading it on public transport! It's so much fun to read Harry Potter, and I'm sure it's not just because I have a thing for mages.

Slight spoilers, etc.
adrian_kellers, I'm so glad you weren't able to spoil it for me since I'm up-to-date, but you should hide your spoilers more carefully !!![Image: silly.gif].

This last book is certainly the most exciting yet.
The whole Horcrux idea, I really wonder how it's going to turn out in the end. By the looks of it, Harry's not even half way there to destroying Voldemort yet! Please don't make us wait for another two years! ... That Severus Snape!!!Angry

Harry Potter - Teh EkwEE - 26-07-2005

SPOILERS BELOW! - DE

I have never liked Snape and now we know why........ARGH.

the whole Horcrux idea and all. And you know who R.A.B is? Rabulus Black........remember he tried to leave the Death Eaters. And Harry not going back to Hogwarts and ARGH. SO MUCH HAPPENS!

EDIT DE: EkwEE, those things sounded like spoilers to me; and you just ruined a little for me. Please label the spoilers!
