Strider DS Wrote:Twin??? Mechgun? Rangers don't suck they are just the most average characters in the game. RAcasts are reeaaaly good though.
I'll reiterate: try PW#4 in Ult without a Ranger, THEN talk.

I rank Rangers above all else, and I dare think my experience is greater than yours, especially with rangers.

Erghhh... Arguing with Kefka is going to kill me...

Rangers, though good, are by far the EASIEST characters in the game to play as... All you need to do is get a good gun, and stand and shoot... With Forces and Hunters, you actually need to watch your HP, or you will die. Especially when you have to fight through the Seabed, a Ranger has a much easier time of it, while a Hunter or Force requires SKILL to get through it.

Schoichet Wrote:4 FOnewearls? well i have never played one so my opinion does not represent that of any FOnewearls or the class in general -_-;

but i see... alot of hit and run? or maybe a lot of healing, depends on what quest/area i guess...

Not as much as you think on the running.
Though we did style each others hair, put on make-up, talked about shoes....

Being legit is fun because you actually have to work to find your items and rares. For those who are unlegit, I bet they get bored with PSO extremely easy because they have everything they want or can get anything they want easily. I am legit and have a blast taking my time finding what I want. Now to reply to what Scott Bull said... I think 4 Fonewearls would fare better than 4 hunters or rangers just because that they could continually support eachother and heal eachother. Plus the powerful spells... :O

lol, play with a Ranger more, your 29 HU and 11 FO cannot give you a decent experience of anything, really.

Rangers do NOT stay afar and shot, simply because monsters are everywhere.
Actually, Rangers are the class that requires the most skill in the game, at least online.
FOs support and HUs hack 'n slash, RAs have to use the good weapons to help the team (FS/SQ to freeze, etc.) they do support with weapons, that requires skill, and on many situations, they deal the most damage.

And HUcast is not very difficult to play: hit A, took mine to Lv192 that way.

I neither hack or slash, I use a mix of tech and attack....

As for how 4 FOnewearls would survive, easy, if one dies, another would cast reverser on them, which would restore their TP count, as well as eaching having 10 Mono/Di/Tri fluids, and recovering TP.
Hunters/Rangers would restore their TP when they die as wlel, but have significantly less anyhow, also, they'd be limited to 10 Moon's each to heal each other in.

Ahhh... But I played PSO to level 200 online on the DC, and I recently had a corruption of level 100+ characters... But a few things:

1) They do the most damage as th'er multi-hit weapons are the strongest.
2) Nobody else uses freezing weapons because their accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.
3) Forces tend to be better when using some big spell, like Rafoie, unless you are up against a boss, in which case they ARE better at support, as they die more easily.

Or maybe you're just a naff Force, I don't die against boss battles, nor do I go nuts with techs, for Falz I use Foie when IT uses that sheild as it can penetrate it, but apart from that I just hit IT normally, and in the case of Olga Flow, I give him some nasty cuts in the ankle with my Elysion.
