In my opinion, it's more of a stereotype that people like to label people with. I mean, people in Canada always make jokes "America (as in the USA) is so fat!". That is BS and yet people fill themself with it. They act as if the US is the only fat nation and everyone else is alright. Another example would be that all Americans are gun slinging cowboys or that all Canadians say "eh?". The list is endless. I never thought British people drank too much tea or had bad teeth, I mean, I used to drink tea a lot for a while.

all americans arent fat because im skinny and im american...

and also nobody should be insulting the english and how they speak or what they look like, because actually christopher columbus came from england and then the england/british started a war with the indians and killed them all. and the english/british moved so acutually most everybody who lives in america right now originated for britain/england... but i have native/american in my blood. Big Grin

Umm....I live in Texas, you better take that back. Angry That's just as insulting as that stereotype when people say "do you ride horses to school in Texas? "

I drive a VW New Beetle for your information :S.

i wasnt being serious thats why i had the Big Grin at the end Tongue . VW beetles are cool... they're so tiny.

I rather like how we take our time on education over here, I'd hate year-round school...I'd go insane (luckily I'm out of high school Tongue)

on another note: I've always found British accents to be fascinating.
