I've always found them as drops. I found two in the Forest 1.

I'm sorry but I don't remember that.
I know Pinkal finds all Amplifiers.
I remember Purplenum does not find any fire-based Amplifier.
I also remember that Resta Amplifier does not appear in Ultimate, but Rafoie does.
