I don't know if I should be posting this but what the hell I feel I owe it to anyone with a PSOBB account... So at the risk of my mod powers here goes <_<;

If you have a PSOBB account on the official servers and you don't want your character to be erased GO TO THE SCHTHACK FORUMS - (Google them) - send a PM to the lead administrator of those forums and that private server "SCHThack".

Ask him to transfer your character from PSOBB Official to PSOBB SCHT. He'll probably ask for like £5. Just pay him through his paypal. From then on you can play for free on his server.

He is incredibly devoted to PSO. New quests, skins, items and content that keep the game balanced and alive are coming out all the time over there; and also many JP quests/unreleased US PSO quests are up on that server!

You'll also have to give him your Playsega account details (including the password) don't worry he really won't screw you.

Anyway there you go, you can save your characters and it'll probably cost you less than one official HL.

There is a pretty large PSO community there to. Some people are total idiots, some are not. No different from SEGA PSOBB.

yeah i transfered my account there when i heard the news, im not all to high.

I figure it would've been okay to mentioned this method on the last month that the official servers are open, that way the legal issues associated with it are minimal since Sega wouldn't be getting paid any more money from customers during the last month anyways.

I just want people to know in advance, have as much time as possible. Also, SEGA do know about SCHThack so if they don't shut him down entirely they won't mind this one comment

does that mean i wnt be able to play the gamecube version onine at all i havent done yet but was planning on doing

You can play on Schthack servers, but the official ones are down.
