Yeah, that would be cool. What would be even cooler is if they had so many specifications for your character that not one would look the same, you could change like nose shape, absolutely everything, includig hair length and style. However, it would make it awfully tedious to make a character, but whatever, it would be cool if each char had like 200 costumes XD

It would be alot cooler, also, if character had voices to an extent, like say, a default voice, but as you changed their size it became lower or higher pitch, that way they would be able to yell out super combos you would be able to do, and more spells, hey need more like, multiple hit spells such as a tornado or like a zonde spell that makes a loud booming noise and hits enemies like 10 times, as well as many MANY more specials, possibly photon blasts can become a bit like a limit break. Oh, the possibilities..
