Magic is so much better than traps cause traps can become too much of a hassle... they never worked for me...

ok ill give an example of why magic is better than traps..

i used to have a HUcast at lvl 120 and a HUnewearl at lvl 120 at the same time almost... and if i used a freeze trap in the Seabeds w/ my HUcast, the damage i did with L&K Combats (weak attack) was 95-100, and my HUnewearl with magic S/D J/Z i did almost 200 weak attack in the Seabeds also. and i got hit less off my HP too with my HUnewearl... all in all though its just what you like more. i know some people that r0x my s0x with traps and suck a$$ with magic and vise-versa. but ne way i vote magic

what was your atp with the combats on? You might not have enough pow on ur mag or have used lees pow mats cuz i use vulcans +9 with 30% hit and i do way more than that with a weak (190-250). Traps are the best especially in the seabed but you must time them and position your enemies but after doing so the rewards are much better. grab you partisan or sword and start hacking at their frozen bodies! always worked for me. Plus fire traps area lot more useful then everyone sees them, as at higher levels the radius and power of the explosion rises (mine is about 300-400 in seabeds) 'cept to zoas and zeles (100-150). PLus the delbiters are fun to watch destroy everything in the room while confused lol.

lol magic is ment to be uxed when avaliable, but i on the other hand androids dont need it or their traps, its just a bonus for them so they go through faster, if you forget to you your techniques it slows things down quite a bit, lol

With a hunter i would prefer traps, cause i never end up using the magic.
