yes he is in a matter of fact. When u beat super metroid he isnt really dead. Though i dont think Ridley died in MP1, if i remember correctly he just fell off the side of the platform but also that is space pirates most advance creature. Plus after mother brain (Who was first command) is now disregarded. Which makes Ridley the first commanding officer, the space pirates cant harness dark samus's power, as it can kill anything except for samus. So the next metroid will probably have ridley in it as like a second boss. NNNNNEEEEEEDDDD more metroid games, ughughughgughuhgugh. more with multiplayer as well lol.

DM, are you saying that the Dark Samus I saw in the beginning was he Samus you played with in MP1 and that the phazon suit like made her go crazy? Or is it that when the meteor struck Aether, it caused an evil twin form much like it did with the Luminoth?

Close but almost right. I am going to spoil the end of MP1 so I can clerefy this. At the end of MP1 when you finish off Metroid Prime the second form and last boss in the cinima scene u see Samus's Phazon suit get sucked into what is left off MP. After Samus runs away from the disitigrating(sp?) crater and flies off the camera goes back to the place u fought MP second form. There u see the hand off the Phazon suit shoot out of the Phazon puddle and it has an eye on the back side of it signalling the begining the second MP. If I remember right to see that u have to get 100% percent completion. Hope that helps. Feel free to through in anything I may have missed although I don't think there is much I did.

I guess i gotta get 100% on MP1 to see that ending, I never got to see that part. But i did know that dark samus is MP1. Cause u can tell how much dark samus just loves its phazon lol.

I never thought of that, I even saw that at the end of MP1 but it never even occured to me. How the hell could I miss that? *slaps forehead*
