Oh yeah. Even every time I pick up an item i click on sort. I'm such a perectionast. Especially when I'm started a new character. That way you become more open to your resources.

Heh, I hate the auto sort. I always have it:

Mag(s)
Weapons
Armor, slots
Shield
Mono, Di, Tri items
Antidotes, Antiparalysis
Sol, Moon Atomizers
Trap Visions or Telepipes depending on character
[items I picked up]

Not so different from the game's, but... meh. I just like the mags to go first.

But back on topic, heh. Yeah, I always pick up the weapons with specials... even if I probably will never use them at all.
