Should SSBM thread be given a second chance?

I miss being able to talk about SSBM... why can't we just forget about the past and try it all over again... if flaming begins.... then we'll just hafta delete those people's posts if they don't say anything thats not flaming/spamming.... I miss it... how about you?

The big problem is that the members that forced Serpent7 and myself to trash the old thread will return in the new one. Therefore, no change will occur. In addition, the issue with deleting spam and flaming is that there was such a sick amount of it, that we had no choice.

I'll leave this thread open for a time, but I see it going downhill as well. We'll see about a new SSB:M Discussion thread.

Yes... these problems I foresee... and yes... I know you can't just delete all the spam/flameing....huuuhhhh.... and this irratates me SOOOO much... cuz personally... I need help/advice/like talking about SSBM... and the fact that people can't accept others differences upsets me.... but I am hoping for... well for a miracle I guess, since it seems that thats the only way I'll get it back...

Well..I, and I'm sure Serpent7 will also once he sees this, will consider this carefully and we should have some type of an answer for you soon. I am having a change of heart in the sense that if the same (or not the same, no matter) individuals decide to spam up the next SSB:M thread, I will warn them, and then have them recommended for a ban if their behavior persists.

All in all, if Serpent7, among any other staff, agrees to the creation of a new thread, it will be done; but not until. Fair? I'd say so, considering the disaster the previous one was.

Yes... I know... I respect them all and forever will... wether I like their decisions or not.....Though I know that this is a toughie... cuz I know of many others who would be glad to have SSBM thread back.... but then theres the spam'flame problem....

Ah, i wondered why i havent seen that thread pop-up in a while since ive been back, and it must have been closed. However i guess it must have been closed for good reason, as should this. If indeed it was because of spam, of which i did see much of in the threads lifespan, it will only come back time and time again.
