it's well known that BB has been hacked for a long long time..ever since the beta, as silentBob said.
ST just don't seem to care enough about the games to use a decent anti-hack program. NTprotect has an incredible amount of ways it can be bypassed. every patch ST made, a new bypass was released. i only hope all the effort they aren't putting into BB is going into PSU. if not they can say good-bye to the entire Phantasy Star line, cos hackers will simply take over every re-incarnation they make.

well i seriously doubt much will be done to fix BB, universe WILL be hacked, as all online games are, Sonic team will probably do something about it to begin with, they might stop caring after a while though, like all the others.

thats the most likely thing to happen. they stopped hackers on BB for a while, but now that the bypasses for GameGuard are practically public, theyve stopped caring..meh..any online game is going to be hacked, theres no stopping it..

I disagree with you saying that any online game will be hacked AND there's no stopping it, my favourite game has been hacked, but the cheat programs that catch the hacks are 100% effective, they CAN NOT be gotten through. They are used on almost every server, and when they catch someone, they ban that person from playing online forever, unless they have a dynamic IP.

it doesnt matter how good the anti-hacking programs used are, the fact is, somebody will find a way to hack the game..everquest was supposedly unhackable, then it got hacked, since then they have to constantly patch the game to prevent hacks lasting long enough to have a lasting effect. even though they update the servers as often as they do, the game still has hacks in use on it..final fantasy xi has been hacked, so has WoW, and Eve online, and even poor old maple story..online games will be hacked. period.

Not this one; UT2004.
It's open source, too. I have encountered one hack, which was being played on a custom server, and when there's a choice of 5,000 servers, all with anti-cheat mods, not many are going to join.
