195 Power Mag

jarl Wrote:really? in my experience RAmars have enough ata to not need any extra on their mags, and 5 ata isnt exactly a lot. i prefer defence lvls to ata- 10 def or 5 ata? id go for the defence any day, however on a mag its hard to raise. also, an odd number of dex is always bad- you get 0.5 ata for every dex lvl, so thatd be a wasted lvl on ur mag.

not necessarily.
you have to keep in mind that a ramar is a ranged character. duh. plus he can use techs. if you really get scratched by an attack (and seeing as most enemy's range attacks are fixed damage) those 10 more def wont do any real damage. however, even those 5 more dex can buy you an advantage while leveling. its wether hitting or missing. and even half levels from the mag add up with halflevels on basestats.

Ramar, for a start, make a 5/145/50/0 mag, any other stats are stupid, unless you are gonna use 2 God/Arms.

I've always figured it to be best to plan your mag based on how it will affect your stats at 200. My RAmar's mag has 20/120/36/24. The DEF could probably have been lower, but it won't hurt me any in my final plan. 120 POW was enough based on what mats and units I'm using in the plan. 36 DEX and the ATA point provided by one Hero/Ability are enough to max out RAmar ATA (according to the stat calculator I was using)... the DEX I thoguht of first was 40, but that was unneccessary, and since I'd already maxed out ATP in that plan I pushed the other 4 levels into MIND.

Basically, he'll have everything maxed out at 200, should he ever get that high. :ermm:

Of course, there's definitely some merit to using a temp mag until you get to a high enough level to sacrifice some ATP to max out your other stats. I've just personally never done it yet.

Ooh o_< Saw that 185 POW one a bit too late, as I've already started. But I've got mine mapped out at 184 POW, so I'm still pretty close.

The main reason why I'm building a straight POW mag is simply because my POW is lacking terribly, and more importantly, I'm most likely not going to come across any Guld Millas or Yasminkovs in my travels. By the time I need to worry about my ATA, I'm going to be in Ultimate, and by then, I'll have the fundage to start worrying about maxing out all my stats.

184 POW is close enough; just make sure to have Mylla and Youlla on it. (the lv 22 Shifta/Deband, is alot better than level 15)

Estella, Mylla&Youlla, and Pill are the best. Golla is way to weak, and it only hits one enemy; Estella is stonger. The snake (forget name a the moment), has too short of a range so the enemies always attack you at the exact same time afterward, killing you instantly, and it's also really weak. Leilla, it's just a Resta, and it doesn't even heal you fully, nor does it heal TP (that would have made it better); Trimates are better than it.
Too legit to quit.
