That's not what people mean by dark and red weapons by the way. The dark weapons we are talking about are Dark Bridge, Dark Flow and Dark Meteor:







And the Red weapons are also "Rare" items. They are actually named, for example, "RED HANDGUN". As well as having a red photon charge like, for example, a pair of Gatling, their textures are red. The metalwork appears red also.

So unless you posess one of these and deal a final blow with it, you won't see anything. You cannot obtain the dark weapons.

The red weapons are... Mediocre in terms of what most PSO vets would consider rarity. They allow you to see Flowen after defeating Olga Flow.

I am not sure if Red weapons allow you to see Rico, or if you need the dark weapons to see her.

i've tried it with someone using a dark bridge, and we saw rico. Haven't tried with a red weapon, i may use my red mechs next time and see what happens.

Although red weapons aren't that rare, they can be quite powerful. I'm still using my red mechs on Jarlly, and will forevermore (unless I find 2 GM's )

It is if you use a red weapon. The red weapon has to be the finishing blow I believe though. Then you pipe back down to the ruins and into the field and it goes back to the way it was before you fought falz. But instead, Rico will be standing there. When you get close though, she dissapears.

To see flowen you must use a Red weapon; Dagger, Saber, Sword, Handgun, Mechgun, slicer, partisan. Now I have done this several times, and the weapon does not need to finish Olga off but it must be used on him in both forms. After you kill him you return to Pioneer and go back down to the Boss warp in seabed. So its a good idea to leave a telepipe before you fight him so you can get back fast.

For seeing Rico, you have to have one of the dark weapons and use it on him during the fight. And then to see Rico you would have to return to the Falz warp. Now the only way to get a dark weapon would be to use a cheat device like action replay.

Note* The Red weapons arent that bad, some like the Red Sword has a very useful special(Unreduced Seize) and if found with Hit is very use to hunters.

I actually got a Red Handgun off of an El Rappy. Pretty decent weapon, grinds up to +50. As for the Dark weapons... yeah, I wish...
