Gamecube=Dead

The occasional jolt can be enough to put a GC out of action. on the other hand, GCs are probably the easiers console to repair! Make your own decisions people, I still say id fix the thing myself.

thats completely true, my cube has only SLIDE down from about a foot off the ground at about a 60 degree angle. Which did result in my cube becoming completely useless. I'd agree with the whole fixing the thing myself, if I only had the right tool to get into the stupid thing.

Well, it's believable if you're transporting your GCN from place to place or whatever, but I've had reports and stories about people's GCN's just being kicked or what-have-you...bah, just carelessness. Take care of your possessions.

I am still waiting for my GCN, but I can wait for a while. But I have recently got re-hooked to Halo ( The Demo ). And I am Playing Multi-Player Like Mad. I played it for 3 Hours Straight!

I am a Problem, My Gamcube has Died... It will not read the disc at all. I have a feeling that it is the Laser, but I am not sure ... I have two Choices:

Repairing my Gamecube. ($50-60)

Pros:
-Get to Keep my same HL, and Over 700 Hours of game play will not be for nothing.

-...I don't have to buy a new one

Cons:
-The Laser might get fixed, but what if something else gets messed up?? Thats $100 Dollars in reapir, and with that money, I could have gotten a Brand New GC

Buying a New, or Used Gamecube. ($70-90)

Pros:

-New GC

-With a Brand New GC, I know it will work w/o Problems (Newer Models are usually the better ones imo)

Cons:

-More Monry out of my Pocket.

-Don't get to Keep the same HL.

-If I get it used... What if it Doesn't Work?

Your hunters license is linked to the Game not the Cube you can use it on any GC you want as long as you enter the info in the options menu. Btw if your cube is 12 months old or less Nintendo will repair free of charge.

I'll say something about Ninty, very good tech help/repair service. Unlike microsoft or sony, they do actually seem to care

btw, my GC is 3-4 Years Old, so that really Doesn't Help. But as I have said b4, I am getting a new Gamecube.
