I got this game for ps2, called YS- the ark of napishtim. It's a real time battle rpg... I was just wondering if anyone else has/does play it. It's very interesting...

I've heard/read about it but I've never actually played it. Is it any good?

It's all right, I'm not that far in it yet, I'm only level 20. I don't know how much game play it has, but if it has more than I think it does (20-25) then perhaps it will fullfill my expectations. The graphics remind me of gameboy type graphics, except for the beginning cut scene. I give it a 3.8 out of 5 for now.

Yes, it's actually a revival of an old SNES game. I played the PS2 version for a bit and found it to be nostalgic and old-school. Although the graphics are the thing that all the reviewers harped on, the game still stands up pretty well. For the record, the only bad point about this game is that I thought that the voices during the cutscenes were unbearable. The girls all sounded like they had inhaled way too much helium and all the guys sounded overly scruffy and deep voiced. But besides that it's a fun game renewing it's roots.

plus they mouthed the voices soo incredibly badly.. but its fun!

I might have to check out that game from Blockbuster just to see... that is if they have it.

Yeah, thats probably the best thing to do.
It's fun, but I'm not too sure that it's worth $45. |
