I have seen Hsi Yen, i thought it was pretty good. The acting was very good in particular, and i am a big fan of Ang Lee thats the reason i watched it in the first place ^_^
You say you like Takeshi Kitano, have you seen Hana-Bi? Thats a very good movie.

I gotta say, I love Asian Cinema. Big fan of Battle Royale I+II, been a fan since it came out in the UK back in 2001. [I used to work for a film rental shop and I requested it in x) ] But I felt the book was better!

I've seen Versus, Dead or Alive, Ichi the Killer, Hard Boiled, and probably my 2nd favourite Asian film ever, OLDBOY. One of the Best films ever made, if you've never seen it, GO BUY IT!
