So basically what's happened is that all the settings on your router have reset themselves to null values? :S Is there not a button/function on the router that just resets it all to the default settings?

You shouldn't really have to adjust anything on your router to let it allow internet access to your Gamecube...

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I don't have access to the router. That's the flat-owners domain and it's something that I don't have much knowledge about. Those statistics were really only about the internet access point on the LAN-port (I'm a network n00bie - sorry about that too). I want to make my laptop an access point, if that is possible.

Do stores still sell Internett/network (etc) for Dummies? I think that would help a lot. I guess I'll try do google that exact phrase.

Edit: After the google, I came over another detail. This laptop is connected via 802.11 b system and it is a crypted wireless network. 64-bits crypted. When I try to find a network with MK: DS on my NDS the set can't find any networks. But, that might be because the network is crypted. I do, however have the password for this network so it shouldn't be a problem. I think.

Well in that case do you even need a router? Did you say you're using the LAN port on your PC/Laptop? If not or if you have a wired router plugged into your comp that plug it into that, and enable Internet Connection Sharing on your PC and hey presto!

The wireless router is connected to your webbrowser? I think you're getting a bit confused there Tongue Anyways it seems as if your Laptop's LAN port is being used, so the easiest way to me (Maybe the only way...?) would be to purchase your own seperate small router that creates another mini-LAN between whatever's plugged into 2 LAN ports, and then set Internet Connection Sharing up on your PC so the internet signal is being sent to your Nintendo Gamecube. I can't tell you how much such a router would cost mind... best searching the net for something like that or going into a specialist PC shop and asking them if they sell routers with at least 2 LAN ports... or even if they know of another way! I think you're right. I have ordered a hub for this connection. It costs 1500kr (ca. $120 -not sure though) and makes it possible for me to connect four GC in order to make it possible to have 16-player multiplayer session with MK: DD. Smile

Ah very cool, and i know of the connection type of which you speak, all done through LAN using Broadband Adapters (Cor i wish i knew 3 others with Gamecubes and BBA's and MK: DD, for some 16-Player LAN Mario Kart!), and you can use that to share your Internet connection across from your Wireless router, Laptop, and Gamecube! Big Grin
