Guitar Players....What do you play?

Music is what I want to do in my life. I could care less if wether or not it's my source of income in life. I do it because it's what I want to do in life.
As far as acoustic strings go, I prefer steel-string.
For a bassist, caluces aren't an issue, so I get to enjoy the metalic sound you get from the strings without my fingers bleeding. But I don't get why you went for the bolt-on, it just isn't near as good of a sound as set-necks or neck-throughs. I mean, I can see why you compensated, it looks awesome, but I'll take a cheesy-looking, awesome sounding guitar anyday. (i.e. the Musicman Bongo) And I totally agree. Music is how you live, and what you do with your life, it shouldn't be about how much money you make. When you start living capitalist, you've already sold out. NVNC ID VIDES, NVNC NE VIDES

I play bass guitar. Carlo Robelli 4-stringer. I'm good so if you've got questions ask me.
Oh and about that stupid capitilist comments. Let's keep politics out of GUITAR TALK please.

It personally think that politics should be included in any kind of music-related forum. After all, you're politics effect your style. (at least, that's my exeprience).
Anyway, I've never heard of Carlo Robelli. does he do customs? 'Cause I'm reconsidering spending the money and the four years waiting for a Carl Thompson custom. I dunno, his basses just have a certain appeal to me, like "that's the way guitars should be made". NVNC ID VIDES, NVNC NE VIDES

Lame, the guy I was buying the Yamaha from put the price up :'(
I'm not allowed to get the guitar...  In the mean time, I'm searching for some guitars from eBay...I'd like a Yamaha that I can get £100 or less...*sighs* According to a friend, Yamaha sounds are kinda messy...Serpent7, is your Yamaha custom built?

i forgot to mention... I have one of the almera guitars.
Anyone caught smoking at Layer Road will be buried in the
centre circle by the forking groundsman, with only their head showing, and left there during the second half. Previous threats of electrocution, being made to listen to Will Young and being hung from the floodlights have failed to discourage all the smokers. If Cardiff players had to stand and pay respects to an English national anthem, would they? I don't think so. But Arsenal players manage to do it.

Politics don't effect guitar playing style. They effect a lyricist's style. About Carlo Robelli. Yeh, the basses themselves aren't exactly flashy, nice looking, but not flashy. The sound is amazing in my opinion and the only reason i chose to play bass is because i love the sound.
