PSO is full of names that seem to be pronounced differently by different people >_>
A semi-off-topic point perhaps, but how do people here pronounce 'Dimenian'? Personally, I say 'DEE-MAY-NEE-ANN' which might sound a bit weird <_<

If you had played the game in Japanese for 2 years, like I have, you'd know all names.
Japanese letters directly transcribe sounds.
And it is DEE-ME-NIAN (ディメニアン

.
People may pronounce the names in funny ways, there is a standard pronunciation, dictated by Sonic Team.

Where did you get those from? If that's what you're going by, then it indeed says "rah-cast", but I've also played PSOBB Japanese Beta and PSO Version2 JP, and the character classes were written differently as:
ヒューマー
ハニュエール <-- the HUnewearl exception

ヒューキャスト
ヒューキャシール
レイマー
レイマール
レイキャスト <-- says "ray-cast"!
レイキャシール
フォーマー
フォマール
フォニューム
フォニュエール And the "ホ" isn't quite there because it's already in the "ニュ".

I remember, one time I randomly bumped into someone at school who happened to play PSO. (There are like 1400 kids, and I didn't even know this guy, and I have no idea how we got on that topic, but anyway...)
I said "Uh-soo-kah" (Asuka), and he went on some huge rant about it being the "Ass-kah"
:S
Too legit to quit.

That does not mean you're right.
Mirinee, IME went funny on me, I don't recall putting any "ホ", and IME does not automatically converts "か" into "キャ" when going to Katakana (because aspirated consonants do not exist in Japanese).
As for ラキャスト <--> レイキャスト, it seems I remembered wrong <_<
