I knew it'd only be a matter of time before a prequel for Halo came out. They really should release it on the PC instead, I dont especially like the idea of an RTS on a console.

Yeah, that seems to be the main gripe about the game. I've heard that LoTR:BFME2 got quite good reviews for a PC port of an RTS for the 360.
In some ways I wish it wasnt an RTS because I'm not a big fan of the genre but the trailer was so tantalising

therefore I'll probably buy it. Hehe

What's real funny is how they showed no signs of making such a game until they found out there was going to be a Dawn of War mod doing the same thing. Then they shut down the mod forcibly and made this.

Yeah, saw that on frontpage of HBO. Microsoft closed down the
HaloGen mod that was being made, about a week before the Halo Wars announcement.

It's actually buisiness sense. If you have power in an area, and someone else reveals a popular element, nick it for yourself!
However, I'd say there are a number of moral issues. I think the mod should have gone ahead! Ah well... Never mind ^_^

Believe it or not, its the way Halo was first conceived. Bungie weren't too sure about it so moved to a 3rd Person action game and then changed again to the Halo we know now.

Heh, sounds good. Too bad it'll be a 360 title, I'd have been looking forward to it.

I agree, RTS games should stick to their genre's homeland, the PC! See what happens if you go microsoft? They'll put EVERYTHING on the 360! Who would want that? (answer: microsoft)

*little voice* I do, i dont like my computer and enjoy siting at the tv to play games... though i do understand the RTS would be alot better with the keyboard and mouse at a desk... and i would think they would have a huge sale if they put it on PC... i guess its also a way for them to sell more xbox360s
