OK, here is the next part of the story. We are going back to Ragol for a while now.

In the depths of the ruins, two figuires hastened. At first glance no-one would assume a FOnewm and a HUcaseal would make likely companions, working team maybe, teacher and student, bodyguard and target, least of all lovers.

And yet the android and her lover walked deep into that forsaken place, and they were never more then a few steps away. They had been in the ruins for so long now, their time on the Central Dome, their apartment together seemed like a dream.

As they entered the third section of the ruins, Alura gazed at the walls with interest. Each section of the ruins had been different, and this one was the most startling of all.
"Nelene" called Alura, softly. The slender FOnwm, who was only 16, turned slightly, bells and bracelets tinkling as he did so.
"Yes?" he replied.
"Have you seen the walls?"
"I know. It's gross, isn't it?"
"It looks like, I don't know. Like the organs of a giant creature. Like a whale"
"Inside a whale. Not a pleasant thought."

On the walls, fleshy masses and organs pulsated and gurgled, beating hearts, squelching stomachs. Neurones glittered along walls. The pair stared at the living ruins, wondering how this could be.
A malevolent hiss sounded out of the shadows.
Aulura whipped around, quick as a reflex.
"Dimeans!" She cried. With a glitter of programming code, her chakrams buzzed into existance.
Nelene unfolded his Mahu with a flick, and instantly began chanting a spell.
"Wheel of flames, protect us.
GIFOIE!"
A ring of scorcing flames spiralled from the Mahu, and engulfed the Dimeans with greed. But when the last ember died, the Dimeans looked the opposite, albeit very burned.
A smirk lit up Alura's face.
"Sorry little witch, looks like Alura needs to sort this out."
With a warcry she cannoned into the nearest Dimean, and swung her chakrams. With a scream and a bubble of purple blood, the creature dissolved, to the fury of its companions. Aulura cackled wickedly. Whizzing through the air, she threw her weapons, and they sliced through the creatures, hacking off a sword, or a leg. The mutilated beasts roared in pain and hunger, and limped towards the two who had dared to challange them.
Nelene instantly began murmering another incantation.
"Flames of the Goddess, hear my cry.
RAFOIE!"
Instantly, the nearest Dimean burned red-hot, howling. Then the creature's flesh flew apart with a fiery nova. The rest of the Dimeans could not escape the raviging flames, and were completely consumed, their death screams drifting away, and then silence.
Silence.
Aulura withdrew her chakrams, which left her hands free. Nelene slipped his Mahu away. Aulura nibbled a pointed ear affectionatly.
"That was fun, of course, it was only because I weakned them, that your fireworks had an affect."
Nelene scowled.
Aulura laughed. "Awww shucks Nelene, even if you could not frazzle a fly, I would still love you. An' sides, you have ruined me for other men."
"Whaa...?"
She twiddled a strand of his long, silvery hair and grinned.
"Remember that night before we had to come down here...?"
"Yes." Nelene smiled.
"You're too good in the sack to dump. Hours and hours, they'd melt me down if I was mad enough to leave you."
Nelene whispered, "And I still know all those little tricks. I'll make you remember them when we get back, oh so curvy one."
"Good, but-"
she took a handful of silvery hair.
"You need a haircut. WAAAAAY! Too long."
"What about your hair?"
"My hair?" asked Alura reaching up to her bald scalp.
"You look like a lesbian."
"Homophobic are we?"
"No, but-"
"Fine." A crop of bubblegum pink curls erupted from the top of her head.
"Happy now?" she asked.
"Yup."
"Now studly, I believe there are some more suicidal Demenians around the corner. Let's help them shake off their mortal coil, right?"

Copy the bunny to your siggy to help him achieve world domination!

Only the strong survive, The weak will only end up dead.

Many lives these two blades have protected,
As many as they have killed,
As i look into the blades reflection,
my blood covered lips speak no words.

Hmmm walking dead tends to look at fanfics, I see. He rates Feline's higher than mine from the sound of it...inconceivable...nevertheless, he shall soon see the error of his ways...

Next section Please!

Time seemed to have stopped. Hours? Days? Years? Time meant nothing to either of them as they walked deeper into the living ruins. The denizens of the underworld hunted them, ethearal eyes gleaming with hatred. Several times they barely escaped with their lives. The cockiness, the arrogance, had been knocked out them, their egos had faded away, and the realization of why they were down in this forsaken crack of the world.
"Do you really think we'll find them?" whispered Nelene.
"A whole research team...they can't have gone far..." murmered Alura.
She did not want to voice it out loud, as if she would seal all their fates.
"They had hunters to back them up. They had Myaa Vega, after all." she added, to hastily to make it seem beleivable.
Myaa Vega, the legendary HUnewearl. A heroine, whose fame was only surpassed by Red Ring Rico.
"If we see her, we can ask for her autograph." Nelene smiled weakly. Even though neither of them wanted to trouble the other, both were thinking the same. If a heroine had met her death in these winding pasages, what chance did they stand?

With each step they took, both of them felt it. What was it? Their minds felt it, like a song whose words are forgotten, and the brain tries to snatch it back. Sometimes they could hear laughter, or a voice that snarled in a bestial language.

When the snarls and the laughter had reached their loudest, they arrived at two gigantic double doors. Out of all of the doors they had seen, this one was very different. They was as tall as several houses, and covered with flowing, elongated runes. At its centre was a glowing, cracked incantation. And both Nelene and Aulura felt nothing but darkness behind those doors. They stepped back, as though the darkness would seep through the doors and engulf them.
"Let's go back!" Alura whispered, her voice on the edge of hysteria. "We'll die!"
"We cannot." Nelene hissed in a strange voice.
"Walk away and save ourselves? Is that...."
"Selfishness." finished Nelene in that voice. Shadows licked across his slender frame, like dark embers.
"We cannot go backwards. Only forwards, do you not see?" he raised his hands. Behind them, to Alura's horror, the way they came shut with a sigh.
"Now come." said Nelene gloated. "To me. Come through these beautiful, elegant doors." With a hiss, Nelene sank to the floor.
"What happened?" he asked in his normal voice.
"You were poscessed. Again." Alura replied, trying to keep the despair out of her voice.
"Really? Who was it?"
"Just a lonely spirit. Needed someone to talk to."
"Oh. What...happened to the way we came?"
"Don't worry....it should open soon, I think the switch is on the...on the..
other side."
And together, they walked towards those forbidding doors.

And they blinked.

Gone were the foribidding doors, the screams of the monsters.
Instead they were standing in a beautiful pristine meadow, underneath an sapphire sky. The sun burned like a phoenix's feather, and the fragrence of plants spiralled into their senses. The wind whispered through the swaying grasses, freckled with butteflies. The air was alive with the buzzes, rustilings and drones of insects, and with the chirrups and music of birds. In the distince a gurgling stream splashed, fish swimming in the crystal waters. Both Nelene and Alura felt as though they would cry with joy, it was as if Nature had exploded into paridise.
Holding hand and hand, they span and danced over the emerald haven, calling, praising whatever saviour had guided them here, feeling their fear balm away in that heavenly day.
And the dream shattered.
The buzzes and the birdsong, the rustling wind turned into hellish, inhuman screams. The fragrent flowers and the swaying grasses shrivelled and rotted, festering into a field of miasmic slime. The fishes floated on their sides and vanished, and the stream flowed with blood. And the slime began to bubble under Nelene and Alura's feet, and as they clung together, the simmering, spitting fluid began to form the most horrific shapes,
faces, howling, screaming, agonised faces, but no sound escaped their tortured lips.
And in the middle of the cataclysmic vision, a shape was forming, liquid and shapeless.
And it spoke.
It spoke not in one voice, but thousands, screams, shrieking the same words in unison.
"Miserable scraps of life, how dare you!"
Both recoiled from that loathsome voice, clamping their hands around their ears.
"What right have you, atoms of flith, to gaze upon a god!"
But then the voices dropped, gloating.
"But why do I behave so? You have far from upset my plans. You see, I am so hungry, and we have much to discuss."
Summoning her last reserves of courage, Alura yelled defiantly:
"What do we have that you want? We have nothing for you!"
"The boy, he is sensitive to disembodied souls and minds, is he not? Surrender him to me, he shall make the perfect vessel, this one is dying."
"Never you sick fucking bastard!" screamed Alura, clasping Nelene to herself.
"I won't become your vessel!" Nelene shouted.
"Oh, I think you shall." the creature murmered, amused.
It happaned too fast. A spear flashed and impaled Alura, and carried her writhing form out of reach.
"Leave her alone!" Nelene shrieked.
The monster laughed in his face, and slowly, as though reeling in a fish, drew Alura into itself, into its form, and her screams were silenced.
"You see!" the creature shouted triumphantly. And Nelene thought he would be sick, for a new voice screamed in unison with the thousands in the demon's voice, so much more clear to him. Alura's.
"This vessel is completly dead." Then as though peeling off a skin, the black bubbling form pulled itself away. It melted forming the shape of a HUnewearl with blue hair and lifeless, once vivid green eyes, Myaa Vega, the heroine. The corpse was flung, landing several feet away, bones crunching horribly.
"And now, you must be dealt with."
Nelene's last vision was of a ribbon of pure darkness embracing him, consuming him totally, then all he felt was agony. And he knew he would feel this forever more, as would Alura, and Myaa Vega, and any soul the beast had consumed.
And his body split and fractured, like broken glass, as its new owner prepared the metamorphasis.

And a new day was dawning on Pioneer 2.
Lazuli's body wriggled deep under those warm blankets, the state of utter contentment.
"Your alarm clock is ringing" said a tiny part of her brain.
"No it isn't." replied another.
"Alarm clock."
"No alarm clock."
"Do you wanna get fired?"
"Erm...no?"
"GET UP NOW YOU SLOB!"
Lazuli's eyes fluttered open. "Nooooo" came an unhappy whine from her mouth. She glared at the clock. Yes, 07:00 bleeped smugly on its face. With an anguished howl she switched it off.
The blankets squirmed, and the bed seemed to give birth, as its unwilling occupant wriggled into existance.
Lazuli landed with a graceless thump on the floor, like a beached goldfish.
She scratched her stomach and yawned. She staggered drunkenly to the kitchen.

Feline do not freat. Just because nobody posts does not mean they aren't reading. I have bee following the whole time and check every day, alought I check all the fanfics everyday. If everyone was to give up when no one posted in their fanfic then my story would have stopped soon after I started. Just keep it up and people will come. If you post it they will read.
